“I’ve just returned from the waterfowling trip of my life. Prairie Sky Outfitters invited a few call makers up to Saskatchewan to hunt with them on their first “call makers classic” hunt. Earnie Ross, Kent Eason and I joined them for three days of incredible hunting. But it was so much more than a hunt. They rolled out the red carpet in absolutely every way imaginable. We did two different hunts a day. While we were resting between hunts, eating dinner or having a drink talking about the day’s activities, these guys are working their butts off in the background. While we hunted, they worked in the fields, and the chef was at the lodge getting ready to put three amazing meals in front of us each day. While we ate and had drinks, the owners and some of the guides were out scouting an unbelievably large geographic area to determine the best options for the next hunts. While we socialized or took naps, they were outside cleaning our birds because they insisted on doing it for us. I could have never imagined the amount of hard work and effort that goes into operating a full-service hunting lodge. If the birds aren’t where they should be, these guys don’t shrug their shoulders, they figure out plan B and figure out a hunt that their customers will talk about for years. I came home very late last night, and this morning I woke up with so many emotions. I’m truly sad to have to leave Saskatchewan and Prairie Sky. I’m thrilled to have met and been guided by Jason Evans, who has been a customer of mine for years. I’m happy to have had the privilege to get to spend time with and get to know the lodge owners, Tyler and Chad, the head guide Cam, guides Spencer and Gage, and chef Jason. They are all just the most likable people you could ever know. I’m grateful to have been able to hunt with two of the world’s best call makers and men that I consider great friends, Earnie and Kent. I’m amazed that a guy who builds duck whistles in his basement was made to feel like I’m actually somebody important by the guys at Prairie Sky Outfitters. The whole experience was quite humbling. I strongly encourage my friends and customers to consider taking a trip to Saskatchewan for a waterfowl hunt. I implore you to contact Prairie Sky Outfitters when you do!!!!”

“Prairie Sky Outfitters are top notch! The team of Chad, Tyler, Cam and Murray give it their all to insure a memorable experience. They are very accommodating and personable. With safety at the forefront, they understand waterfowl and waterfowl hunters and what makes them tick. I can’t imagine any better accommodations and the meals are phenomenal!”

“This was the second great year in a row and i think I’ll go for a third next year. From the time we landed in Saskatoon and picked up at the airport we were totally looked after, right down to permits, shells and a gun. Using a semi auto of theirs saved us great hassles at the airports and customs. Another bonus was that they took care of cleaning the birds, and when you have shot over one hundred birds that becomes important. The blinds are comfortable, the calling ( Tyler ) was excellent, he can really turn them around. It is a treat to watch. We shot our limit on every shoot. I can’t do that in Ontario. The accommodation is very comfortable. The bedding includes flannel sheets which are very pleasant on a cold night. And the food; Spectacular is all I can say. It is the only hunt camp that I have been to that serves prime rib roast beef and BBQ spare ribs. We were there over Thanksgiving weekend and they provided a complete thanksgiving dinner for us as well. Would I recommend Prairie sky? Hell yes.”

“Chad and everyone at Prairie Sky Outfitters. Can’t thank you guys enough for the great trip! Everything was beyond our expectations. The lodging , food , guiding , and variety of species of waterfowl really made this trip very enjoyable. Hope to see you next year – promise to practice shooting a little before we come next time!”

“I have been on a lot of guided hunts in the past and Prairie Sky Outfitters are in a league of their own. They have extensive waterfowl knowledge and actually put in the miles when it comes to scouting the best possible hunt. I was really impressed by their calling and ability to read birds as flocks came in. They were happy to share their knowledge and to explain their hunting strategies to their clients. Not only did I have a blast, but I walked away a much better hunter.”

“Prairie Sky Outfitters is absolutely a first class operation. The guides work around the clock to put your group on the best shoot possible. The gear is all top notch and they make it easy for their clients. They were very appreciative for the help setting up and picking up at the end of the hunt, but never asked us to do anything other than have a good time. We chose the all inclusive package and it was worth every penny. The airport pick up is awesome, licenses and ammo waiting at the lodge, makes things very easy. The lodge is very comfortable and the food is wonderful.
I have been fortunate enough to hunt in Texas and Arkansas for snow geese, let me tell you Saskatchewan is the place to go and hunt, and I can’t imagine a better crew than PSO. After making memories that will no doubt last a lifetime, we will coming back. Thank you Chad, Tyler, Cam and Murray. All you guys went above and beyond for us and I truly appreciate your effort.
Thanks again and good hunting”
